How else can we help?
What do I wear?
DO:
Embrace color. The property is vibrant and full of life, so think “eclectic-chic”: bold prints, jewel tones, soft pastels, or playful patterns that complement the lush landscape and red-tiled pool.
Prioritize comfort. The celebration will flow between indoor and outdoor spaces (and plenty of dancing!), so choose breathable fabrics and shoes you can move in.
Lean into style and personality. A European-summer sensibility, elegant yet effortless, is perfect. Flowy dresses, tailored linens, and statement accessories all fit beautifully.
Consider the setting. The venue’s design mixes old-world charm and modern flair, so an outfit that feels polished but not overly formal will fit right in.
DON’T:
No black tie or floor-length gowns allowed. Formalwear will feel out of place in this setting.
Avoid all-black ensembles. A little contrast is welcome, but the spirit of the weekend is bright and celebratory.
Skip overly casual pieces. Think “summer soirée,” not “beach day” — leave the denim, cargo shorts, and flip-flops at home.

What else should I bring?
Casa Beatnik is designed for both relaxation and play, so a bit of planning will help make the most of your stay. Think beyond the wedding-day outfit and pack for a long summer weekend in the Galician countryside.
Swimwear. The red-tiled saltwater pool is one of the highlights of the property — perfect for lounging or a dip between events.
Activewear. If you’d like to enjoy the tennis or pickleball courts, bring sneakers and light athletic clothing.
Wellness attire. Saunas, yoga sessions, and the spa are available throughout the weekend — pack a comfortable set for relaxation or movement.
Sun protection. Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat are highly recommended; the June sun in Galicia can be strong, especially by the pool.
Layering pieces. Evenings can be breezy in the countryside — a light sweater, wrap, or jacket will come in handy after sunset.
Footwear. Bring shoes suited for both the pool terrace and cobblestone paths around the gardens and vineyard.
Is there a gift registery?
Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for. We are truly grateful that so many of our friends and family are traveling such a long way to celebrate with us and that effort means more than anything tangible.
We kindly ask that no gifts be sent or brought to the wedding, as we will not have a registry, nor a way to transport gifts for the rest of our post-wedding travels.
If you feel strongly about contributing in some way, here is a simple option to make a monetary contribution toward the weekend or our honeymoon, but truly, your being there with us is all we hope for.
What else can I do in Galicia?
For those looking to extend their stay, Galicia offers an incredible mix of coastal charm, wine country, and historic sites — all within easy reach of Casa Beatnik. Whether you’re in the mood for rest, exploration, or a little of both, there’s plenty to discover.
Explore the wine region
Casa Beatnik sits in the heart of the Rías Baixas, home to Galicia’s famous Albariño wines. We recommend visiting one of the nearby vineyards for a tasting — many offer guided tours and stunning views over the rolling countryside. Two of our favorites worth mentioniing: Pazo de Rubianes & Mar de Frades.
Visit Sanxenxo
Our favorite seaside town, Sanxenxo, is just over an hour away and makes for a perfect overnight or day trip. The beaches are beautiful, the seafood is exceptional, and the promenade comes alive in the evenings. If you choose to stay, Gran Talaso Hotel Sanxenxo offers lovely oceanfront rooms and a serene spa.
Continue your journey
Given Casa Beatnik’s location, it’s easy to extend your travels — head south into Portugal (Porto is about two hours away) or explore more of Spain’s Atlantic coast. Both offer incredible food, architecture, and culture worth experiencing while you’re here.
Walk a piece of the Camino
For those interested in history or reflection, consider visiting a stretch of the Camino de Santiago, the ancient pilgrimage route that ends in nearby Santiago de Compostela. Even a short walk along the trail offers a memorable glimpse into Galicia’s spirit and landscape.
